Support Our Military Dependents
Just as you excel in everything . . . see that you also excel in this grace of giving.
-2 Corinthians 8:7 (NIV)
A significant amount of military performance depends on troop morale. Troop morale has a strong relationship to the well being of the families and loved ones the soldier leaves behind. Deployments put huge stresses on military families, both financially and emotionally. With our failing economy, increased costs and a declining job market, those on the home front, especially with young children, deserve a helping hand when the need arises.
If you would like to provide some temporary support for families at Ft. Campbell who have fallen on hard times, this mission can have a great impact on both our neighbors and our country.
Contributed items on our "wish list," may be dropped off in the Fellowship Hall and placed in the "Ft. Campbell" box. One of our members will make a delivery to the Chaplain's office each month. If you would like to donate money or bulk items, please contact Todd or Carol Moss at 368-7485. |
