Local Missions

Local Area Missions

Our church has been serving others since 1861! A few of our local community services are: providing a nursery for all services, a food pantry,   Boy Scouts, the Mercy Children’s Clinic in Franklin, various study groups, educational classes for all ages, an annual revival, a women's mission service, and teaching for the local community. In addition, several other annual events such as Trunk or Treat, Breakfast With Santa, a float in the College Grove Christmas Parade, Vacation Bible School and a BBQ Dinner-iCE Cream Festival are an essential part of our community spirit.

We are happy to announce that †he Church is again hosting the local Red Cross Blood Drive. Come join in giving the gift of life. We are excited to be part of this vital community service.

In collaboration with other area churches, we have a Food Pantry located in the basement which is open on Saturdays from 10-12 AM. Especially needed are canned meats and fruits, as well as basic cleaning supplies and personal toiletry items. If you would like to donate or help distribute, contact Beverly Collins.

We have the opportunity to participate in the Shoebox Ministry This is an effort sponsored by the Franklin Graham Organization and provides Christmas gifts to area children who otherwise would have very little for Christmas.

In the past, we have also served as a liaison for GRACEWORKS in their "Christmas Clearinghouse For Williamson County" program, where we sought families in our county that needed assistance during the Christmas season. We also support the Red Bird Mission, in Appalachia, by sending vegetable and flower seeds.

Please include in your prayer time the faculty and staff at our local school. Ask the presence of the Lord to be with them as they seek to teach and love our children. If possible, please send a note of encouragement to them as well. The address is:
