Welcome
Our church has been faithfully serving the Lord through community service since 1861. We believe that God intends for us to not only be a safe place of welcome and friendliness to any and all whose journey of life brings them to our doors, but to concentrate on what we do rather than where we go on Sunday mornings.
'For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.'
Welcome Justin and Cathleen
Our church has been blessed to receive the Reverend Justin and Cathleen Collett as our new pastoral family! As they were married in June, our parsonage will be their first home. We thank the Lord that 2 such young and enthusiastic people were chosen to come and grow with us. Click here to read Justin's bio From the Pastor's Laptop.

Community Blood Drive
Our next Red Cross blood drives will be on Monday, September 20th from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall. Please come and support our community's gift of life. We need a minimum of 15-20 donors in order to keep this valuable service in the College Grove area.
Community Food Pantry
We are in desperate need of new food supplies!!!Due to flooding in the basement, the food pantry has moved to the Fellowship Hall. This year we have already helped feed hundreds of local families! In collaboration with other area partners, we have a Food Pantry located in the Fellowship Hall open on Saturdays from 10-12 am. Especially needed are canned meats and fruits, as well as basic cleaning supplies and personal toiletry items. We are now able to provide milk, eggs and meat. If you would like to donate or help distribute, contact Beverly Collins.
Community Resources Information Center
Realizing the countless needs that may be associated with economic hardship, we have implemented an information system which will allow us to assist people in accessing information about community resources when they visit the Food Pantry. Our goal is to be a Community Resources Information Center for people needing assistance during these hard times. This realization was a direct outcome of our 6 week Externally Focused Church study.
Support Our Military Dependents
Deployments put huge stresses on military families, both financially and emotionally. With our failing economy, increased costs and a declining job market, those on the home front, especially with young children, deserve a helping hand when the need arises. If you would like to help a family who is suffering while a member is deployed, see the Military Dependents page.
